Lanett City Schools is excited to announce the completion of the Verdis F. Bible Fine Arts Center (LHS Auditorium) Renovation Project. A special ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 12 @ 12 noon. The community is welcome to attend.

LHS and LJHS will host Multicultural Family Night: A Hispanic Heritage Fiesta on Monday, October 14th, from 4:30-6:30 PM. LHS & LJHS Students who participate will receive 5 bonus points to use toward a test of their choice, excluding 9-week exams. Parents must sign in for the student to receive the reward. 💛🖤💛🖤
LHS y LJHS organizarán una Noche familiar multicultural: una fiesta de la herencia hispana el lunes 14 de octubre, de 4:30 - 6:30 pm. Los estudiantes de LHS y LJHS que participen recibirán 5 puntos de bonificación para usar en un examen de su elección, excepto los exámenes de 9 semanas. Los padres deben registrarse para que el estudiante reciba la recompensa.
Lanett Junior High School 2024 Homecoming Court (l-r): Seventh Grade Representatives: Zy’Rhiana Porter, Makenley James, and Jailyn White; Eighth Grade Representatives: Aubree Cheeks, Camber Askew, and Malayah Dawson. One seventh grader will be crowned Homecoming Princess and one eighth grader will be crowned Homecoming Queen during halftime of Tuesday’s football game against Handley.

Mark Your Calendar! The Lanala Pageant and Mr. and Miss LHS Ceremony will be on Saturday, November 2nd at 3 PM ET. Pageant Applications are in the office. The applications and $20 fee are due to Ms. Smith by October 15th. ---- ¡Marque su calendario! LJHS will kick off Homecoming with Spirit Week. LJH students may participate in dress down days ( Theme of the day) beginning Wednesday, October 9- Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Parents please ensure that all attire is modest and school appropriate.
