The Lanett High School Beta Club & Honor Society invite all three Lanett schools and our community to a fun-filled evening of fall fun on Wednesday, October 21, from 5:30–8:00 PM (EST) at Lanett High School, 1301 S 8th Ave.
Enjoy face painting, games, a hay ride, inflatables, a haunted hall, bingo, a petting zoo, and a line dance party at 7:00 PM! Wristbands are $5 and required for entry; they cover all activities except food. Food vendors will include KC BBQ, Winnie’s L3mmies, Icy Dreams, and Las Latinas.

Our middle and high school students are finishing up with their Kuder career assessments! ✨The assessment helps students identify their interests, strengths, and areas they may enjoy in the workplace, while providing career suggestions and pathways to explore. Students have been reviewing their results, brainstorming different careers, and learning how their interests can connect to future education, training, and career opportunities. 🚀

Ms. Staples, our Career Coach, visited some of our elementary students for a fun career lesson! Students explored the big question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” She also read a career-themed book and encouraged students to dream big, work hard, and believe in their future.

A dedicated team of our teachers and administrators recently traveled to Atlanta to participate in the RCA Experience (RCA EXP) at the world-renowned Ron Clark Academy!
Our team dove deep into RCA’s legendary House System—learning dynamic strategies to boost school culture, foster student engagement, build meaningful relationships, and cultivate character across our entire school community.
From experiencing the high-energy house reveals to learning best practices for point tracking, house meetings, and student leadership, our educators returned re-energized and full of innovative ideas to bring back to our classrooms.
We can’t wait to share this excitement and see the positive impact of the House System in our schools!
