4 of our senior students had the opportunity to attend Lineman Day in Phenix City, hosted by Alabama Power.
Lineman are highly trained professionals who install, maintain, and repair the electrical power systems that keep our homes, schools, and communities running.
This experience gave our students a hands-on look into a high-demand, well-paying career field while highlighting the importance of skilled trades in our everyday lives.
Thank you to Alabama Power for having us and for your positive involvement in our community.

Our seniors visited Tuskegee University, where they first toured the campus with outstanding student ambassadors who were welcoming, knowledgeable, and proud to share the university’s history.
Students then attended the Black Greek Expo, gaining insight into campus life and student involvement, and visited the George Washington Carver Museum and the Legacy Museum, deepening their understanding of the institution’s rich history and cultural impact. Many students shared how much they enjoyed the experience.
They also had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Brown, who offered words of encouragement and spoke highly of the Tuskegee campus.
