Lanett City Schools would like to remind all parents and guardians that schools will be closed on Monday, May 26th, as we observe Memorial Day. This day is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
We encourage you to take some time to reflect and remember. Enjoy the extended weekend with your loved ones. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 27th.


STEM/Robotics Summer Camp
Dive into epic STEM and team-building activities, get your brain gears grinding with logic puzzles, unleash your inner inventor skills by building robots with Vex kits and other resources, and crack the code of coding! Design tie-dye t-shirts, embark on weekly field trip escapades, and pack in a whole lot of fun with extra engaging activities. Scan the QR to apply.


SENIORS!
Mandatory graduation practice is Friday, 5/23/25 at 10:00 am. Enter the stadium at the bottom entrance gate. Please be on time. You must be in compliance with the dress code for dress-down days. If you do not practice, you do not participate.
For graduation, report to the football stadium scoreboard at 7:30 pm. Wear your cap and gown. You must follow the dress code for graduation outlined in the senior calendar.
Bill Miller Photographers will be at graduation to take an individual photo of the presentation of your diploma. Ms. Smith will provide details at practice.
Immediately following graduation, report to the visitor’s sideline where you will receive your senior packet, which includes your diploma. Senior sponsors will be there for only 20 minutes.
