Due to an unforeseen delay in the completion of the football field, the field dedication ceremony has been postponed.

A new date and time will be announced soon, and we look forward to celebrating this special occasion with our community.

2025 Cheer Clinic Participants will cheer on Sept. 12th home varsity game instead of Aug. 29th. Everyone can still come out next week and help us cheer on the Panthers! We will be honoring our Seniors during pregame.

The City of Lanett Police Department is excited to invite neighborhoods and citizens throughout Lanett and Chambers County, Alabama to join them in celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. This is a FREE Event for all ages!

These past three days have been packed with essential orientation sessions, where they've dived deep into best practices, important policies, and truly gotten oriented to everything Lanett City Schools is about.

Their enthusiasm is contagious, and we can't wait to see the positive impact they'll have on our students and community. Get ready for an amazing year!

We're still buzzing from our "Special Ops Boot Camp" professional development sessions held July 15-18! Our dedicated educators dove deep into best practices and strategies to better support ALL students.

Sessions covered crucial topics including:

Effective strategies for our English as a Second Language (ESL) learners 🌎
Tailored approaches for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) 🧠
Navigating and addressing challenging behaviors in the classroom 💪
