🚧 Prom Parking & Entrance Update 🚧

Attention all Prom participants and guests:

Due to ongoing construction and renovations in the school parking lot, please use the lower entrance near the football field when arriving.

➡️ This will be a one-way entry and exit, so please follow the flow of traffic.
➡️ Use extra caution when entering and leaving the parking area.
➡️ Be mindful of dust and loose rocks while driving.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our campus. We look forward to a safe and memorable Prom night! ✨

4 of our senior students had the opportunity to attend Lineman Day in Phenix City, hosted by Alabama Power. Lineman are highly trained professionals who install, maintain, and repair the electrical power systems that keep our homes, schools, and communities running. This experience gave our students a hands-on look into a high-demand, well-paying career field while highlighting the importance of skilled trades in our everyday lives. Thank you to Alabama Power for having us and for your positive involvement in our community.

Our seniors visited Tuskegee University, where they first toured the campus with outstanding student ambassadors who were welcoming, knowledgeable, and proud to share the university’s history. Students then attended the Black Greek Expo, gaining insight into campus life and student involvement, and visited the George Washington Carver Museum and the Legacy Museum, deepening their understanding of the institution’s rich history and cultural impact. Many students shared how much they enjoyed the experience. They also had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Brown, who offered words of encouragement and spoke highly of the Tuskegee campus.

We are so proud of our Lanett High School students! The LHS Math Club, Robotics Club, and Basketball Team joined forces with the Chambers County Commission Roadside Litter Program. Together, these dedicated students and staff cleaned up 2 miles of county roads! It was a great day of leadership, hard work, and community service.
Thank you to everyone who participated in keeping Chambers County beautiful!
