The ultimate role-reversal showdown! Students, throw on your cardigans and glasses and channel your inner teacher vibes. Teachers, time to break out the hoodies, backpacks, and teen slang. Who can impersonate whom better?
⚽🔥 Wednesday – Soccer Mom vs. BBQ Dad Day!
Soccer Moms: Grab your oversized sunglasses, track pants, messy buns, and Stanley cups
BBQ Dads: It’s ALL about the aprons, cargo shorts, fanny packs, visors, and dad sneakers
Stipulations: Ladies, no leggings!
👶🧓 Thursday – Dress Your Age Day
Flash forward—or waaaay back! Age is just a costume today!
9th babies- onesies, pacifiers, bibs
10th toddlers: colorful clothes, cartoon shirts, stuffed animals, sippy cups
11th adults: business casual, scrubs, uniforms; show off your real-world look
12th senior citizens: Gray wigs, walkers, glasses, and plenty of “back in my day”
🎭 Friday – Mardi Gras Day
Let the good times roll! It’s a parade of purple, green, and gold with masks, feathers, beads, and festive flair. Go bold, go bright, and bring the Bourbon Street energy!
Support the Student Council, which will be selling Mardi Gras Accessories such as beads and masks.

The state of Alabama requires ALL 10th-grade students to take the Pre-ACT 📝.
Our students will test on Tuesday, October 14th 🗓️.
📌 Mark your calendar and make sure your student is AT SCHOOL, ON TIME ⏰!
🛏️ A good night's rest and 🍳 a healthy breakfast are essential for success.
Students must arrive by 7:30 AM to eat breakfast in the cafeteria 🍽️.

The Human Body Functions & Structures class took their learning beyond the classroom and into the library last week! 🏃♂️➡️📖
They were diving into anatomical planes ✍️🫀 and needed some extra space to stretch out and explore the concepts hands-on.
👩🏫 Led by Mrs. Watson, MSN, BSN, AGACNP-BC, these students are gaining real-world knowledge and making learning come alive! 💡🧬

Night of Champions!
Students attending Lanett City Schools can get into this Friday's football game for just $1! They must buy their ticket at school between Wednesday and Friday at noon. No student tickets will be sold at the gate. We hope to see you there!
Note: Children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.


Join us as we honor Coach Clifford Story with the dedication of Clifford Story Jr. Field at Morgan-Washburn Stadium on Friday, September 12. The dedication ceremony will take place during halftime of the Lanett vs. Barbour County football game. Come celebrate this special moment as we recognize Coach Story’s lasting impact on our school and community!
