The Spanish Club aims to foster an appreciation for Hispanic culture. It is for anyone who has an interest in learning about different aspects of Spanish-speaking countries such as their language, traditions, customs, history, art, music, and literature. Activities throughout the year will include, but are not limited to: sampling authentic hispanic dishes, listening and learning hispanic music, watching and learning traditional hispanic dances, virtual trips to countries in Central America, speak with Natives from different Latin American countries, celebrate special occasions and share knowledge about Latin American cultural holidays, and many opportunities to practice or learn the Spanish language through conversations, discussions, language games, and other activities that encourage active use of the Spanish language.
