I was born in Pensacola, FL and raised all over the place, but spent the most time in Texas. I attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX where I received my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. After graduation, I moved to the loveliest village on the plains where I earned my Master of Science in Education from Auburn University. War Eagle! While at Auburn, I worked as both an educator at a Youth Development Center and as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer right here at Lanett High School!
I now serve as the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher as Lanett High School and the Athletic Trainer at both the high school and junior high. I absolutely love what I do in and out of the classroom at Lanett! It is my goal that once a student leaves my class, they will have the knowledge and skills to be successful in life, and that they will BE GREAT.
Outside of the time that I spend serving the students and athletes of LHS and LJHS, I enjoy reading, going on walks, cooking, baking, and going to the beach.
